Membership in CPPP is open after successful completion of the qualification procedures and submitting an application addressed to the President of the CPPP.

Candidate of CPPP
A Candidate is a colleague enrolled in a EULAPS training group throughout the entire period of study and for three years following completion of the program.
Associate Membership
Requirements for associate membership:
Present a Certificate of Completion of the EULAPS Basic Course in Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics.
Complete 300 hours of personal analysis or therapy with a member of OPP, MGP, or MPO (cases of therapy with members of other societies can be cosidered individually by the CPPP Training Committee).
Defend a clinical case conducted under extended supervision with a supervisor who is a member of the CPPP Training Committee, an EULAPS faculty member, or a guest supervisor approved by the Committee, in a setting of 1−3 sessions per week; a minimum of 40 supervisions is required.
Full Membership
To obtain Full Membership in CPPP you should present a Certificate of completion of the EULAPS training program and meet all certification requirements.
Personal analysis or therapy — 400 hours with a member of OPP, MGP, or MPO (cases of therapy with members of other societies can be considered individually by the CPPP Training Committee).
Defense of a second clinical case conducted under extended supervision with a supervisor who is a member of the CPPP Training Committee, an EULAPS faculty member, or a guest supervisor approved by the Committee, in a setting of 1−3 sessions per week; a minimum of 40 supervisions is required.
An essay on a topic agreed upon with the supervisor, demonstrating the candidate’s ability to engage with theoretical and clinical research in contemporary psychoanalytic psychosomatics, as well as submitting an article or presenting at one of CPPP events (e.g. the annual international conference "The Body in Psychoanalysis: History and Perspective" or the CPPP Round Table).
