“Archaic mental states”
The course is dedicated to exploring early and archaic forms of mental life — those primary states from which personality structure grows and pathologies are formed.
We will examine how primary processes manifest in both child and adult psychological development, in the dynamics of psychosomatic and mental disorders, as well as in transference and analytic interaction.
Each class includes a 60-minute lecture and a 60-minute clinical case supervision.
The course format allows participants not only to deepen their theoretical understanding but also to discuss the practical application of psychoanalytic concepts in clinical work. Classes are held online once a month, on the fourth Wednesday of each month, from 8:00 PM to 10:15 PM (Moscow time).
Lecture recordings are available for 6 months.
Upon completion, participants receive an EULAPS-CPPP certificate.

- Jorge Ulnik (Argentina) — MD, PhD, psychoanalyst and psychiatrist, full member of the IPA, winner of the Sigourney Award (2021), author of "The Skin in Psychoanalysis", President of EULAPS.
- Clara Schejtman (Argentina) — PhD in Clinical psychology, professor of Child Development Psychology (UBA), training analyst of the IPA, EULAPS faculty member.
- Abel Feinstein (Argentina) — MD, psychiatrist, former President of the Argentine psychoanalytic association and FEPAL, Konex Award winner (2016), Member of the IPA.
- Anna Kovalets (Russia) — PhD in Philosophy and Philology, member of the IPA, training therapist and visiting supervisor at EULAPS.
- Irina Korosteleva (Russia) — PhD in Psychology, president of the CPPP, vice president of EULAPS, psychoanalytic psychosomatic psychotherapist, supervisor, and EULAPS faculty member.
